Sweet Charity (2004)
After a 2 1/2
year absence from theatre, Scott returned to the stage. This time, Scott
ventured into a new metroplex city - performing as Vittorio Vidal in Greater
Lewisville Community Theatre's 2004 production of Sweet Charity. In a role
played by Ricardo Montalban in the 1969 movie version, Scott played a famous
Italian actor (accent and all) who briefly takes in broken-hearted Charity, only
to realize how much he's in love with his mistress, Ursula. Vittorio's big
moment in the show came in singing the romantic song, Too Many Tomorrow's, to
Ursula, while Charity envied quietly from his apartment closet.
"Evening Vittorio" poses backstage for his admiring fans.
Vittorio argues with Ursula
(Shannon Johnston) in front of the Pompeii Club.
Star of the show Charity (Danielle
Enriquez-Fowler) reminds Vittorio how truly wonderful he is both in the movies,
and in person!
A photo of either Vittorio Vidal or
Pancho Villa, not sure which.
