Brigadoon (2001)
Once in the Highlands; the Highlands of
Scotland...Charlie Dalrymple sang a couple of songs, got married, hoisted his darlin' to
his shoulder, was nauseatingly nice to the guy who hated him for having an education and
the heart of Jeannie McLaren, appeared in the daydream of a New Yorker longing to find
Brigadoon once again, and lived happily ever after despite one-hundred years passing by
each night while he slept.
Brigadoon allowed Scott to enjoy playing a very charming supporting role very similar to
that of Motel in Fiddler on the Roof - as Charlie's character was seemingly present even
in scenes in which he did not appear. Brigadoon marked Scott's first show in over a year,
and his fifth show with Music Theatre of Denton.
Jeff, Tommy listen closely as Mr. Lundie and
Fiona tell the story of Brigadoon.
