Flower Drum Song (1996)

     After an incredibly long absence from theatre, I decided to audition for a show with 'magination Station in Bryan, Texas. I auditioned for the show in hopes of being cast as a chorus member, so I would be known when the next show, Fiddler on the Roof, rolled around. I was very lucky to receive the role of Frankie Wing (a goofy Chinese nightclub singer) in possibly the least-loved Rogers & Hammerstein musical. Having an audience member tell me how great it was that there was a part for me in the show that wouldn't require me to have a good voice, made me realize that either I couldn't sing, or I pulled off the role.
